Blue Mary

Blue Mary, for me functions as a Yantra, which is an instrument used to balance the mind. This concept is found in Eastern Tantric traditions. While the imagery for the painting is figurative, I painted the circles in the same formation I found in a petroglyph on the Big Island of Hawaii. It feels like a star constellation to me! Enjoy.
